After removing plugs bore scoped cylinders found lots of oil carbon build up on top of pistons and valves, no visible scoring or hot spots, performed compression test and all cylinders with in spec lowest was 174, and highest 195 psi. Min wear is 101psi. Installed new spark plugs, cleared faults test drove runs great, Advise replace PCV, perform carbon cleaning intake ports and de-carbon pistons with engine flush.
- SPARK PLUGS – Remove & Replace – V6 All, performed compression test
- Could be the seat heating element itself is broken, or wiring is damaged, or the sensor (thermistor) in the cushion failed. Will need more time to diagnose further
- OIL SEPARATOR – Remove & Replace – V6, clean around it, install new injector seals, intake manifold seals
- WATER PUMP – Remove & Replace – 3.0L Eng, serpentine belt and supercharge belts replaced,
- THERMOSTAT & GASKET – Remove & Replace – V6,, includes replace coolant cross over pipes with overflow pipe.
- Also includes removal of spark plugs to fill each cylinder with carbon cleaner let soak for few hrs, turn engine over by hand to brake loose carbon and extract left over fluid thru spark plug hole. then drain oil and change filter. Reinstall spark plugs and fill with fresh oil start engine and let it idle for 30-45 min then test drive.
